About Wanda P. Hardy

Ms. Hardy is a graduate of Columbia University School of Business for Nonprofit Management and holds both a Bachelor of Science degree and an Executive Master’s degree in Business Administration (EMBA) from St. Joseph’s University.  Ms. Hardy is an American Association of Family & Consumer Science Certified Personal & Family Finance Educator (CPFFE), Certified FDIC Money Smart Trainer and Instructor and licensed New Jersey Realtor.  On-line and Campus courses taught at Rutgers University includes: Micro and Macro Economics, Consumer Economics, Urban Economics, Financial Institutions, International Business and Business Policy.  She has also lectured at St. Joseph University in the Department Economics.

Ms. Hardy enjoyed a successful 20-year career in the banking, real estate development and technology business sectors, prior to forming WP Hardy Consulting, LLC in 2003 (www.wphardy.com).  Specializing in business management and organizational and professional development, Ms. Hardy creates success strategies for businesses and individuals.  In recognition of her accomplishments, NJBiz has named Wanda Hardy one of New Jersey’s 2015 Best 50 Women in Business.  In 2014 she was featured in SNJ Business People “In the Bull’s Eye” and recognized as one of 2014 “Top 40 Women in Business”. In 2013, she received Philadelphia Business Journal’sWomen of Distinction. Ms. Hardy is also a recipient of Gloucester County Commission for Women “Gloucester County Women of Achievement Award and a “Joint Legislative Commendation” issued by the State of New Jersey.

In addition to her work with WP Hardy Consulting, in 2003 Ms. Hardy formed the Financial Wellness Institute (www.financialwellnessinstitue.org) for the purpose of “Strengthening individuals and families and empowering communities towards economic stability.  A recognized expert in the field of financial literacy, Ms. Hardy is the recipient of the American Association of University Women “Eleanor Roosevelt Award” for breaking through economic barriers for women and girls and the New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education “Leader in the Community Based Promotion of Financial Literacy”.  Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders issued a “Proclamation” and under her leadership the Financial Wellness Institute has received numerous awards from the FDIC.  In 2013, Ms. Hardy received Rutgers University Chancellor’s Award for “Faculty-Civic Engagement.”
